MEET THE FOUNDER
Welcome to my classroom!
Hello, and welcome to Strauss Group Tutoring! I'm Yolandi Strauss, known to my students as Teacher Yolah. I founded this South African online English tutoring business because I believe learning a language is about much more than memorising words. It is about understanding, expressing ideas, asking questions, and communicating with confidence.
My journey as an English teacher
I have around six years of online teaching experience and training in teaching English online to students and business professionals. I also have advanced training in English grammar. I have taught learners at different levels, from beginners to students building communication skills and preparing for examinations. I especially value seeing a learner understand a tricky idea, form a sentence independently, or gain confidence to share a thought.
